Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this magnetic tape thinking it'd be another gimmicky office supply. But at $12, I figured why not give it a shot? Three weeks in, I'm pleasantly surprised. The 3M adhesive backing is indeed strong; it stuck to my metal filing cabinet like nobody's business and hasn't peeled off yet. It's great for organizing my ever-growing pile of documents. My only critique is that the tape itself feels slightly thinner than I expected, but that's a minor quibble given its performance so far. All in all, not bad for a skeptical buyer like me.
