Our Experience
With a busy household and a home office that's constantly in flux, I needed a filing cabinet that was both functional and mobile. The METAN 4 Drawer File Cabinet on Wheels fit the bill perfectly. I've had it for almost a month now, and it's been a real asset.
First off, those lockable wheels are fantastic. I can roll this thing around my office with ease, even when it's fully loaded. The casters lock securely too, so it doesn't wobble or move when I'm rummaging through the drawers.
I appreciate the adjustable bars in each drawer. They've allowed me to store both letter and legal-sized documents neatly without them falling over. It's made filing much more efficient.
However, I did find that the drawers could be a bit stiff at first.

This is an excellent buy! At first I was a little overwhelmed when I opened the box. However, once I counted and organized all the pieces, and followed the directions closely the cabinet came together beautifully! I debated about putting the wheels on but I'm glad I did it makes it easy to clean under and move around. Also, the wheel locks work perfectly to keep it in position. Lastly, the cabinet lock worked well and I'm pleasantly surprised with this purchase. And the price was excellent!
I love the room in this cabinet. It's very easy to move, and it fits under my standing desk without needing to raise it higher. It is very sturdy as well. I'm thinking about getting two more, one for my other bedroom and one to put into my closet.
It does a good job of holding our files and looks fine. I just can’t give a file cabinet 5 stars even if it’s easy to put together and performs well, and even if the drawers are reasonably stable, or the value is there for the quality of build, because at the end of the day, I don’t want to think about my file cabinet or my files at all. Four stars is as good as it gets for a file cabinet, amirite?
This file cabinet is great! It is very sturdy and looks professional. There is a wheel you attach to the bottom drawer so that the file cabinet will not tip over it if is top heavy. You can use with our without wheels…the wheels make moving the cabinet very easy. I received my first cabinet and it was damaged in shipping, but the vendor quickly responded and replaced it right away. I am very happy with my purchase…it was a great price for a quality product.
Good price point. The extra wheel on the bottom cabinet is appreciated. Moves easily. Easy assembly.
