The colors are sort of a muted neon sort of shade.They write with a good amount of ink and almost never skip. They skip a bit when you're at the very end of the pen, but I expected that to happen. These are my favorite pens for coloring. They don’t color over the black lines which I LOVE. I also love the shimmer and it’s so pretty on paper. I feel like they do dry up kind of fast but nothing crazy.
