Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this VINGLI filing cabinet. It seemed too good to be true at that price point. But, after checking out its sturdy construction and positive reviews, I took a chance.
Arrived in great condition, no damages. The gray wash finish is stylish, not flashy, fitting perfectly with my office decor. It's solid, not wobbly like some others I've had. The drawers glide smoothly, even when fully loaded with files - no minor critique there.
One thing I really liked was the lock mechanism. It's simple yet robust, giving me peace of mind for confidential documents. And those five casters are a godsend; moving it around my home office is a breeze.
However, one minor critique: The keys could be a tad longer. They're easy to misplace because they're quite small.

Bought this cabinet to retire an old steel file cabinet that I've had for many years and no longer need. This one fits perfectly under my workstation desk. Assembly is quite involved but easy to do once you get everything laid out. Be prepared to spend at least an hour minimum (or two) putting this together. I expected this cabinet to be the same cardboard type material we are all used to with inexpensive assemble yourself furniture so I expected this to be no different. It’s still cheap assemble yourself furniture but the quality is definitely better than average. It took a lifetime to assemble and almost had a meltdown when I was just about done and thought I was short an important part, but I think I was just tired and hangry by that point because I found the part. This file cabinet is easy to assemble, aligns great, and is very sturdy .. with the wheels on the bottom and it being fairly light it’s moves around pretty smooth . Great product for the money . Lots of storage for a small cabinet and neat design .
Just finished putting together. The cabinet is heavy when assembled however, I think the weight comes from the amount of pieces, not the quality. Throughout the assembly, if screws are tightened too tight they just spin. So be mindful to tighten but not look for the screws to “stop” when secure.
